2007 GL 450 not compatable with Demaris Michelin

We have a 2007 GL 450 that came out new with Continental 275/55/r19 tires, They were replaced with Michelin Demaris 275/55/r19 tires by Raben tire at 26190 miles, After approx 5000 miles Raben rotated the tires, We noticed that they a little noisy and were featheredgeing, At 33749 Raben replaced the tires and had D Pat align all four tires and they replaced the air ride pump under warranty,After about 4000 miles the tires started featheredgeing and were rotated, Man after a few more thousand miles the tires were so noisy you thought you were rideing in a old 4x4 pickup with monster mudder tires! Dpat replaced tires under the MB goodwill assiatance program at 48869 miles with a discount! At 52546 miles D patrick rotated the tires and were starting to featheredge, I took it back after a few thousand miles and they thought rotating would not take care of the problem of featheredging and being very noisy! It now has 64863 miles and I am taking it in th D patrick for a message that the brakes need attention! Has anyone had similar tire issues? Are Michelin tires not compatable with a GL 450? Should I go back to Continental tires? The dealer and Raben tire have been wonderful to work with but I am throwing up my hands!!!!!!!! What should I do?After 3 sets of very noisy featheredging Michelin tires and the Continentals that came with the vehicle, It now has only 64863 miles total is this a good track record?

If you go here ...

http://www.michelinman.com

and enter your vehicle, you'll find ...

We're sorry, our brands do not currently manufacture tires fitting this vehicle's specifications.
The name of the tire you purchased is 4x4 Diamaris®

You'll note in your owners manual you're supposed to use tires with MO specification.

Go here and note which are "OE Tire" with "Mercedes" listed ... and you'll see a conflict between Michelin and Tirerack.
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSe...ting=S&tab=All

It's good to understand, of course, than any of these tires are 25K mile tires at best ... as Mercedes has designed.

I have a 2008 GL 320 CDI. I just put my 3rd set of perilli scorpian zeros on at 86k miles. I have been able to do over 40k miles per set. I do almost all highway driving. I have been pretty happy with my tread life.

I bought the "H" rated for my second set a and just put them on again for the 3rd set because i was very happy with them

I see no difference between the V rated that come on the car and the H rated that i replaced them with. They are identicle look and tread pattern. The H rated are about $80 cheaper per tire.

An H rated tire is rated to 130mph, and the V rated for upto 150. I go no where near either of these speeds

Difference between H-rated and V-rated is often nothing but initial tread depth, the V-rated having less ... which creates less "squirm" and consequently less heat, which is what causes failure at high speed.
