mildew smell
After this guy did the detailing of my car i have a mildew smell. what do i do to get rid of that smell and have a new car smell (new leather smell) back.
I have already left the car and rugs in the 90 degree sun for couple days.

The smell is coming from the air duct system, it's a very common problem. I changed my cabin filters and used a spray "Frigi-Fresh" sold by my dealer(6.95 a can). It is a very specific antibacterial spray that won't stain or damage the interior. It is sprayed into the fresh air intake of the outside of the vehicle while the A/C is on full blast. It has a "fresh" smell for a day or two, then neutral. I like the Yankee Candle Car Jar called "leather", it's pretty close to the real deal.

there are plenty of us glk owners that have the smell issue. what is mercedes doing that this is so common? mine only smells just when i have a passenger getting in? of course! when i'm by myself...nothing! all my cars current and past, never had this issue? it's obviously a MB issue?
