Bluetooth Connection

I have a 2008 GL550 and I connected the bluetooth puck into the armrest connection. When I click TEL it says activating phone with a circular loading display. I only get a connection when I hold down the Mercedes logo on the bluetooth puck on my phone which requires a PIN/Password which fails to recognize by the system. If anyone could help with instructions on how to connect my phone (Blackberry) Id appreciate it. Thanks!

I haven't connected my wife's BB to our new GL yet but I did run into problems trying to connect Bluetooth on my iPhone. What finally fixed it was a SW update to the latest version in iTunes. I know this doesn't help your BB puck situation but I did find a lot of useful tips just doing a Google search on the issue. It seems like MB is known for Bluetooth connectivity issues relative to others manufacturers.

call up mercedes benz. they will send u a code like 92765 or something and u just enter that code and you shouod connect. i just called using the mercedes gl call button nd it led me to mb. oddly it said connectivity failed but it was acutally connected cuz i was able to make calls. then after a few calls it said connected in my car. after that it was connected every time i turned on my car. just keep using the code nd keep trying to connect itll work trust me. it took me 2 months to actually start using bluetooth because evrytime i tried to connect it said failed and i gave up, what ened up happening was they forgot to give me the last digit of the code so it kept saying failed. im pretty sure all the codes are the same because i called twice and the code was the same both times. hope this helps if not msg me because this problem got me really annoyed and ill be happy to help.

Go into your settings and then to bluetooth devices. Set up a new device and on the navigation enter any code (0000 works). Then connect your phone to the car in the phone settings and enter the same code. It will connect after that.

UPDATE: Better late than never.

Thanks to everyone for their help. MBUSA worked out for me on any phone.
