2007 gl450 strange sound
there is a strange sound coming from under my gl. it happens everytime i stop the car un close the doors. i dont recall if it happens when the car is running or not. it sounds like a scraping noise. does anyone know what this is?

your AIRmatic Adjustment to parked position, it comes along with "hiss" sounds.

thanks. im assuming everyone else has this sound also. on my s500, i just have a hissing air sound so i knew it was the airmatic. this sound on my gl is a strange sound and i could not figure what it was.
so, what adjustment does this scraping noise do?

Is it a "scraping", like metal/metal or something along those lines, or more of a puff/hiss/possibly a small whine or whistle?
If it's truly a "scraping" noise, something might be wrong. But for mine as well, every time I open the door when my truck's parked, the light comes on and there is at least some noise from the suspension. It's adjusting the air ride, as far as I can see sort of to make sure the air suspsension is ready to go by the time you set off. Maybe in case it has leaked enough to drop you down like a low rider?
