Putting the hitch on!

Well ordered my hitch for the 2010 Gl 350 today. Should be here in a day or two, they told me to check the rear sam to make sure it has the plugs on it and mine does

The dealer said they had one sam with no plugs and had to order a new one (400.00) charged to the owner. Just about got the bumper off, left two screws in so it would not fall off in the driveway. I will keep you guys posted on a DIY so others can do it if needed. Not sure if the sam needs a program, they said if I needed a new one it would, I would think mine should be fine but will check to see what they say.

Paid about 1000.00 for hitch from dealer(955.00 + tax). Put it on over the weekend going to the dealer to have the sam set up for hitch. I will post up after that is done.

update

Just got it back from the dealer, they had to turn on the sam for the rear hitch. Its about 112.00 for them to do it, so not to bad. I put on the hitch which was not to bad at all, the wires were easy power,ground, and sam plug, the green plug is for hitch brakes if used. Tested it on a non Led light hich and worked good. Ready to tow the race car this saterday

No pics but I can help if anyone needs info. Yes 6sp supra trying for a 9sec pass. I just always have something come up, so atleast if something happens I can tow it home.
