Like the reporter in the linked article pointed out: there is NO mention in the recall notice of the problem being limited to diesel powered cars yet the 'headlines' point out that M-B diesels are being recalled. Just another example of deliberate bias against diesels at the NTSB?

Actually, the headline didn't mention diesels. That's in the body text.

The headline I am talking about is the headline of the crawler I saw yesterday on Fox News channel.

Since my car is set to be built the first week of production, I would think that this recall will be already fixed on my up-coming build?

I would expect it should be - the description in the NTSB recall notice leads me to believe that the fuel filters, both gas and diesel, MAY have been assembled at the factory (or wherever they are put together) without the proper lubricant on the 'O' ring that seals the canister to the filter body. This assembly procedure error should have been fixed immediately when it came to their attention.
