Looking to buy the 3M protection for my 08 gl550 soon. If anyone knows where to buy a protective pre-cut kit which covers the entire front bumper and a decent amount on the hood, the mirror fronts, and headlights for a good price please let me know.

Also if anyone has experience in getting the protective clear bra done I would like some advice/input before I get it done!

Thanks

I'd recommend to have the stuff installed by someone who a) has done it before and b) will re-do it if they screw up without you having to pay for a whole new kit. Just my humble opinion.

I have installed the 3M kit on several vehicles, and found to be a moderate diy project. The larger sections on the gl front bumper must be stretched as it is applied, while quarter panel sections/mirror cover fit without much trouble. The local dealer charges 800 dollars plus taxes for an ml or gl install, which I did on a couple friends vehicles. It took me approximately 5 hours per vehicle to do. If you attempt as a diy, practice with the smaller panels and work your way up to the hood and front bumper section.

I have professional workers to do it I just need the kit. My father owns an auto repair/detailing shop so applying it isn't a problem at the moment purchasing the right kit is.

I saw the ones on eBay but not too confident in buying from a description of the product from somewhere where with no guarantees.

I could have the detailing/customization people at the shop look at it and see how much it would cost but I would rather just buy my own kit and have them just put it on for me.

Thanks to everyone ^^
Any input is welcomed.
