Yellow Headlight Marker Replacement?

You'll need to replace the entire headlight unit with one designed for a country where the orange isn't required. You'll destroy your current unit trying to get it disassembled. There are no spare parts for these units.

2011 GL350, 2010 S550
Kent,
Do you know for a fact that the front clear plastic shield is glued or somehow permanently attached to the headlight mirror body? At a glance I remember seeing that it is secured with some clips, but I am traveling and cannot take a closer look for a few weeks.
I was actually contemplating trying to obtain the S550 headlight look and the yellow marker is a real issue. The GL headlights look so plebeian next to the spacecraft look of the S. I think the S has the best head & tail LED lighting design in the market with high definition geometry, color scheme and overall light dosage during day & night.
The new GL tail lights look better than before, but when compared with the S they seem geometrically weak and not so high precision as the light is not evenly distributed in the light guides surrounding the brake & turn LEDs.
Thanks!
