Brakes clunk sound in 320cdi
When moving and brakes are applied I hear a clunk or knock sound in the front end. Had pads replaced around 2K miles ago. Have not been able to isolate the sound yet. May be in engine bay (ABS) or may be at the caliper.
Any ideas?

SL55,GL450,E320,SL500 AMG,540M-sport,928S4,and a F350 Dually
If the noise started around when you replaced the pads then I would say the spring clip in the caliper was not re-installed correctly
