Adding the rear seat entertainment system
I have a 2007 GL that does not have the rear seat entertainment DVD system. I just aquired the complete system from a friend who had this in his 2007GL (came installed from the dealer). Does anyone know who could install this systems besides the dealer, they quoted me a crazy price to add it. I'm in the San Francisco / East bay area.

Agreed, a good stereo shop would be a good choice, but the guys I have talked to weren't too interested since it's all proprietary hardware, and they didn't have the first hand experience with it. Would be nice to find a shop that has seen this system and could install it.
the dealer price was hight, and I also don't have any confidence they can do it. They didn't know how to install my iPod interface in another car back in 2006, and sent it out to a stereo shop to install...but that shop is no longer there.

There is this place in Pleasanton called Kar Tunz. They are excellent. They only work on high end cars. They should be able to handle this. I had them install a clear bra and the running boards on my 07 GL. They do excellent work
