Rear AC off by default at start

I noticed recently that when I start the car, the rear temp is turned off. I'm assuming there's a way to set this. I've turned it on and turned off the engine. But it sometimes turns off by default. Anyone know how to set this?

It turns itself back on after a few minutes. Shut the car off with the rear A/C on. Then restart it, don't touch the button, it will come on after a couple of minutes. I promise!

Interesting.. I wonder why it does this. It does not do it consistently. Perhaps when it's really hot and it needs to build up cool air before blowing?

Yes, when it is hot, the front starts to blow cold before the rear turns on.
