Are the headsets for the 07 rear entertainment supposed to be wireless? Ordered new headsets from dealer as part of my purchase and recieved the ones from Mercedes with the plug in. just wondering...

The GL's didn't have wireless systems until the '09 model. Unfortunately the '07 and '08's have wired headsets from the factory.

Yea, kind of sucks...anyone know if they are wireless capable. meaning if I were to purchase wireless headsets would they work with the existing system?

you could plug in bluetooth headsets like the ones from sony probably.

No they are not wireless capable, I tried. I hated the wires. Like the other post said though, I do believe they have wireless headphone that you plug the adapter into the head phone jack and then it transmits a signal to the wireless head sets.
