Seat memory - Link with key?

Hello y'all, can the seat memory be 'linked' to a particular key?
For e.g., position '1' will automatically be selected if I insert key A
position '2' will automatically be selected if I insert key B?
TIA

The other incredible faux pas is that the passenger seat will conveniently scoot out of the way when you fold the second row forward, but inexplicably won't return to its previous position automatically when you're done even though my 2011 GL350 has a memory passenger seat as standard equipment. <boggle>

MB tends to "underwhelm" when it comes to the electronic convenience stuff....... not sure why. Maybe it's just the GL class...... perhaps the E or the S get all the goodies.

E Class doesn't have key memory option as well.

I beg to differ, I have two keys, both programmed separately. Key one will set the seat, steering wheel, and mirrors up differently than key two. All programmed through the IC

The SmartKeys used to be linked to the memory positions. But MB dropped this feature long ago after some issues and bugs with the system that left many owners complaining about it.
