I had the service D done less than a year ago at 44k miles, starting last week I see reminder for service B due in 30 days. I was expecting that I will service A and not the service B, what is wrong here?
If I really had to do service B, anyone know the cost and what involved in it?

this means your oil change is based on time (1 year) rather than mileage.
all time-based oil changes are "b"... while most mileage-based oil changes go a,b,a,b. etc...
this is normal. drive it more
