hello everyone and happy fathers day to all the dads here. i know if you have the suspension at the raised setting it automatically lowers at about 40 mph. i was wondering if there was a way to keep it at a raised mode no matter what your speed. no big deal, i just think the gl looks better when raised. i find myself trying to keep the mph down to under 40 just for the look. jeez i am weird.

 

I know how you feel; I love the car in raised mode, but I think that it lowers for safety reasons.

 

Has anyone figured out what the height-management algorithm actually is?

My '11 GL350 seems to raise and lower itself at really random times, like at stoplights and stuff.

I'm sure there rhyme & reason to it, would just like to know what it is.

The suspension raises and lowers itself to keep the car as aerodynamic as possible, thus improving fuel economy.
