Tying Down Canoe on GL
Anyone ever load a canoe on their GL? I can't seem to locate anything to tie the straps to the front of the truck...shouldn't there be tow hooks under the front end? Confused...

You could install the factory tow hook and tie down to there. It will be found under the spare tire holder in the cargo area.

Factory tow hook on the front works great as a tiedown. Use the trailer hitch in the rear. Carry mine all the time like this. Don't forget to AVOID using the rear liftgate with the canoe on the roof though - even with the liftgate set to the lower setting, the top of the liftgate will connect with the gunnels of the canoe. Yes! I did this - once.
