305-40-22 Tires

Thinking about getting 22" wheels for my 08 GL450 and wondering if it is safe to 305-40-22 size tires on them. Would they rub?

I'm running 305/40/22 and there's very slight rubbing at the beginning (first week or so) in the front only when you do full turn slowly. A few other members also run this size so check out some of their answers in this thread. You should be fine.

Sixpak, your truck looks SICK! Turning a lot of heads up and down the 400, I'm guessing!

Haha, my truck does look a little different from garden-variety GL's and I don't really notice any heads turned when I'm hitting the 400 . Ok, maybe a head or two here and there.....
Thanks for the compliment!

CSAA: You won't regret going 22's and 305. Good luck!
