Parking brake question
I am noticing that in my '11 350, that whenever I apply the parking brake, the vehicle almost always seems to be 'resting' on the gear, rather than the brake holding it.
When you guys park on a very slight slope, put the truck in neutral, and apply the parking brake, does the vehicle still roll?
Curious!

All drum style parking brakes allow some rotation or set before they can hold their full load. If your truck is moving excessively than an adjustment is in order. It is good practice to always set the parking brake, place the vehicle in neutral, release the foot brake and then set it in park. It only takes an extra second. This way you save wear and tear on the electornic parking pawl that this trucks transmission uses.

This way to never load up the electornic parking pawl on the transmision.

Released foot brake expecting the truck to stop after rolling a bit, but it just kept on rolling..
Taking it to the dealer next week.
