Hello,
I have a 09 GL450. The dealer gave me a quote for service B as below.
" The Flex-B service includes a very in-depth safety check, cabin air filter, windshield wipers, lube-oil-filter, brake inspection, electrical check up, and tire rotation if applicable. The cost of the B service is usually about $460 pretax. Your vehicle may also be due for the brake fluid flush that is recommended every two years or 20,000 miles. The brake fluid flush is about $120 if it is a conventional system or $210 if it is an SBC braking system that takes more fluid to flush and has to be done with the lap top computer"
I know many mercedes owners are hesitating to get the flex service due to the high cost. So do I. If I get the service B with the brake fluid flush, total cost will be $580 or more. Do I really need to take the service B? or, Can I just order the lube-oil-filter, cabin air filter and the brake fluid flush?
