Furthermore, if you don't want to lay out $65K in cash to purchase the vehicle, you can always borrow the money from Mercedes Financial at 1.9%.

I know people getting GL450 for about $750-$800 with no money down today and 12K a year for 33 months. I think it's a fair price. There no any discounts on diesel models - so to lease bluetec it will cost about $1K a month. Some cars better to lease..like E350 Bluetec..some to buy..it all depends on the market situation.

Other than that you may be right...but have you ever thought some people do not care how much it cost ? I've seen some of them...they've got some crazy fire in their eyes and deep pocket

I am working a 2012 GL450 MSRP - $73K - cap cost down to $60,900 - lease for 24 months 12K miles year - $5700 down $675 including tax - grind them out.
Have them drop the rate - have them start at .021 and run lease below invoice agreed price. should be at 70% residual - you can get them down cheaper.
Love the car, but hate the command system. Was really expecting more out MB, the system is probably the worst navigation device I have ever seen. That and its control of an iPod leaves a lot to be desired. Voice control is almost useless, the only thing it does well is change radio channels. My 4 year old Gamin Nuvi is a better navigation device.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to improve the system? Can it be flashed with better firmware? Can you change the route profile used by the system? Right now it uses the shortest distance, which in south Florida is almost never the quickest route. I want to use the highways and avoid roads with a million red lights and school zones.
