2011 GL 350 - Parking Brake On Warning Glitch
Occasionally my GL thinks the parking brake is set - about once every week or so when I start up the truck I get a red warning message on the dash display warning me that the parking brake is on.
This has also happened a couple of times while driving.
Since I never use or even touch the parking brake - I assume there is some sensor or software glitch going on. And I'm certain that I'm not accidentally setting or even brushing against the parking brake pedal.
The warning does go off and stay off if I pull the parking brake release.
Anyone else seen this problem? If yes, what was the fix if any?

For sure I'm planning to have the dealer fix under warranty.
The reason I was looking to see if others have had the same issue is that this is likely to be one of those classic "can't reproduce" problems. Greatly helps going into the dealer knowing if other people have seen a similar problem and if so what fixed for them.

I've had this problem occasionally on my 2007, but in my case I'm 100% certain I've brushed up against it. It's still completely released, but it doesn't take much of a bump for my light to come on.
But given my experience, I could see where a switch that is a little bit more sensitive than mine would cause the light to come on without being bumped.

I do use my parking brake, and it has happened to me (in fact it happened a couple of hours ago). I just push the pedal all the way down and then pull the release again. That usually takes care of it. I've noticed the issue when it's humid or rains.
