08 GL550 amp remote wire install with Logic7

Hey guys I have a question regarding installation of the remote wire for my amp in my 2008 GL550. I wasn't sure where to hook it up to in the back of the vehicle. I was going to hook it up to the 12v accessory outlet, but turns out that it's on all the time. Do you guys have any ideas?

That's is where I was going to hook mine up as well, assumed it was switched.... That what I get for assuming. I will look this weekend and let you know if I find a better solution.

Just curious, where did you tap your speaker inputs for the amp at?

I actually tapped into the remote wire tied to the factory amp located in the rear, right cargo area under the factory 6 inch woofer. Sorry, I don't remember the exact wire. You will have to test the voltage on each wire. Of course it will be the one that is 12v when the radio is on and 0v when the radio is off.
