Range display after low fuel warning

Range display after low fuel warning
Is there a way to display the range (in miles) after the low fuel warning displays? In our GL, it just says "reserve fuel" which is not helpful at all. In our other MB, it shows the range which is helpful. I know it's not 100% accurate but it gives you some idea. Is there a menu setting that can change this?

On our X5, the low fuel indicator lights up, followed but a audible warning at ~10 miles remaining and continues to calculate the remaining range. This is much nicer than a silly "reserve fuel" indicator. I ran the tank low last night and there was no warning chime on the GL.

Same here. I get no warning chime either. The yellow indicator light on the fuel needle gauge comes on and a pixelated graphic of an SUV next a gas station pops up lol.
No idea how many miles are really left except that the last time that came on was around 38 miles left on my range.

My old C class even had the range calculation after the low fuel warning. I wonder if MB dumbed this feature down based on complaints of accuracy, legal, etc. Hopefully, there's some hidden menu option to enable..
