It depends on where you drive a car. City driving, I mean NYC, brakes (pads) should be good for about 25K-30K miles. Rotors - about 60K.

I'm at 63,000 miles - still original brakes. I'm very 'light' on them. I like to use the diesel to coast and slow down vs. hammering the brakes.

My pads were changed at 40K but going to change those out to Akebono pads, as I hate the MB pad dust! Would also like to upgrade to the 375mm rotors from 355mm in the front.
