Hi Everyone,

We've had our 2012 GL Avant Garde for about 6 weeks now, and love it, but I'm getting really frustrated with not being able to get more than a block from the car wash before its covered in mud rooster-tails!!! I love the big 21" rims, but.....

Any suggestions?? If not, let's all band together and pressure MB to have one of their designers take 2 hours and come up with a solution for us. A sexy black SUV with flares covering 21" AMG wheels doesn't look so great when it's dirty!!

I am in the same boat. I love my GL but cannot believe how much mud builds up on top of the running boards. I have had several different SUVs in past with running boards and never had anything like this. Please MB, make us a mudguard to fit the 21" wheels and fender flares on the ML 350 AG edition!

Please add me to the list of GL owners fed up with dirt on the doors. I have rear mud flaps and running boards so don't have the front ones. Mine is a GL450 with std 19" wheels, -no flares.
What is so difficult about designing front mud flaps that work with the running boards?

What is the issue they need to overcome to make this work and manufacturer front flaps?

I have a 2012 with running boards and found mud flaps front and rear a few years back. I'm pretty certain that I bought them on eBay.

Here's a photo (from when I was swapping in new front struts...)
