Help me buy a 09 GL450 CPO
Dear friends,
I am starting to think about trading my R500 and possibly my ML350 (I also have a third car so we don't need three cars) for a GL450.
My local dealer has a CPO 2009 GL450 with P2 package which I want. The mileage is at 43K and he asks $45,700 for it. Is this a fair price for it? I am not in any hurry and I am willing to wait for a few months for a lower mileage car but at the same time I am thinking that I can probably get this at around $42K at least. Am I too wishful?

I am a custom-order dealer in PA. I can get you an '09 GL450 with those miles for $42K prepped and serviced, in mint shape.
I can't help as much on your trades, but the dealer will certainly make money on those too. So while an MB dealer can't work on the type of tight (5%) margin that I can, if he's doing the entire deal he should be able to get close to $42K.
