2008 GL 450

2008 gl 450 ipod trouble

I just purchased a 2008 gl 450 and it has the ipod hook up in the glove box. I can play it and control it with the steering wheel and see the songs on the dash. I can not see what is playing on the center nav screen. Any help?

Does the car have Ipod integration or just an Aux jack?

I believe it has ipod integration. The songs show on the display by the spedometer but not on the nav screen. how would I know?

the cord goes through the wall in the glovebox, it doesnt just plug in

Thats the way it works on the 2008 with so called ipod integration. Primitive,esp the maddening steering wheel control logic, and no nav display or nav unit control of ipod either, only by said steering wheel buttons
