2007 GL450
Experience with aftermarket back-up camera?
Hi guys,
I'm considering adding a back-up camera to my '07 GL to help with hitching up to a trailer.
I asked at the dealer about installing the factory camera and they said it would be prohibitively expensive and recomended a third party solution. I would like the system to be seamless and look like a factory install. Does anyone have experience with any aftermarket systems in their GL? Any recomendations, dislikes, or issues (flashing screens, clarity, time lag in switch to/from reverse, etc...)?

i replaced my head unit with an double din unit and back up camera.
Doesn't have the reversing guide lines as in the standard unit, but works just fine.

My 2007 GL doesn't have the reversing guide lines either. It came with the backup camera from the factory.
