Adding ipod feature to 2009 GL320
I did not buy the media kit when I bought the GL since I did not have any ipods or iphones or anything. Now I do have an iphone - what is the easiest way to add music playback or the ipod features? I have nav and all the rest, just no media kit and no plug in the glovebox.

2009 GL320
I just got a 2009 GL320 as well, but I have the aux in glovebox. I just tried using the iphone/ipod with it using the aux and it works fine. I was goign to get the dealer to install the media interface. The part was around $500 and installation about $200-$300. However, I realized that the ipod controls are on the steering whel and the info only shows up where the speedo is, not on the command NAV, so I decided against it as I wanted for the passengers to use. With the media interface, only the driver could control it. Something to think about I guess. I just got it, so I am also trying to figure out how to add the music via memory card, but it is not recognizing it right now.
