My 07 GL320 with keyless go has only 35k miles on the clock and has recently developed rattles (one by one over 3 months) in all four door handles. You can hear it when you release the handle to return to its rest position after opening or worse when you close a door.

Everything still works fine (incl. sensors for keyless), and you can't see anything wrong...therefore my mb extended warranty doesn't cover. Still, it's a loud noise and I wonder when they'll all decide to break...any ideas??

I was wondering the same thing but never got a chance to ask the dealer. My 07 R has rattles only on the passenger handles, yet all keyless go functions work the way they should. (I don't know when the issues surfaced as I bought the vehicle preowned). When I opened the door of a brand new 2012 R with keyless go, the handle also rattled. I think it's just a poor design and if everything works you should be fine.
