Thanks! I enjoyed that review. I loved watching the reviewers conduct their 0-60 test for the GL350 and GL550 - that was fun (and funny) to see. I have never driven the GL turbo diesel but thought it could motivate the GL with a little more alacrity than the reviewers found.
I am looking forward to all of the "first drives" reports that should come out next week given that MB held its road show for the 2013 GL in New Mexico last week.

The GL diesel is very slow off the line and kills the 0-60 times. Their comment about the power liftgate was a bit off. The GL always had the power liftgate and is not new to this model. The automatic folding second row is very nice. I always hated that the right side second row was the only side that completely folded for entry.
I really liked the 550 inside and out. Just don't care for the headlights but the engine is a big improvement.
