Peeling Paint
I have a 2008 GL550 that is now on extended MB warranty with 49K miles and 4.5 years. The paint on the right front fender flare started peeling. It looks like it may have started where there was a small scratch on the edge that has been there for years. Would anyone know if the peeling paint would be covered by the warranty?

Edit: Base warranty is 4 year 50,000 miles bumper to bumper. If you fall under the bumper to bumper, they may cover. Outside of that, they still may cover under goodwill if you are a great customer. Give them a call or take it in asap.

however elw is more mechanical coverage and doesnt explicity say paint. Like others have suggested, ask your dealer and see what they say. GL
