I have factory iPod interface installed but cannot get my iPhone4 to work. So, last night I plugged in my old iPod nano and it played no problems (albeit controls are through steering wheel only)

The iPhone works flawlessly with the BT factory installed dongle puck thing in the arm rest. But when we connect the phone to the whip out of the glove box, the phone just says something about charging is not supported.

Do I need to something special to get this work with the phone? And, is there any other way to control the iPod other than the steering wheel? I've got to sift through all my wife's Barry Manilow and kid's Beiber songs to get to something I want to listen to.
