Navigation update for 2009
I have found DVD 2012 update disc for GL Command system but description says it is for 2007-2008 MY only. Is there another part needed for 2009 MY? We live in an area where many complex highway interchanges have been redone in recent years and my wife really needs better guide through these else I get panic calls asking for directions. ;-)

Is there a reference that describes or explains the difference between these two systems? I am trying to get up to speed quickly on this.

NTG2 is a DVD based system so you update by simply removing the old DVD and putting in the new one.
NTG2.5 is hard drive based. You have to buy an update disk and let it load onto your system. This method takes a few hours.

And these update discs are the ones I have seen in the group buys I assume? Where participants pass it along after they run update on their HD based system?
