A bit off topic but I noticed for 2013 the fuel filter interval changed from 20k to 40k mileage...
that is very optimistic.
dont know about the rest of the country, but on the east coast most diesel fuel filters barely survive the 20k service interval. i have seen a few that start restricting fuel flow much sooner. as soon as 12k in one case.

Interesting. I am in the DC area so won't be pushing it. I wonder what changed for 2013 then. Better filter?

Toda change my fuel filter. It hás the 5pin sensor.
Splited the sensor, and For my surprise, some conectores are jumped and in the end Only 3 wires go inside the filter.
Maybe it is possible to use the older and cheaper 3 pin version with reusable sensor.
