GL Modding
Hi all,
being frustrated at the lack of aftermarket modding items available, I started tinkering with my 2007 GL that I bought used a year ago. So far I've installed:
1) DRLs - picture to follow
2) Running Board Lights
3) Backlight LEDs:
Day View
Night View
4) Interior Lights exchanged with LED lights - pictures to follow
5) Tron type EL Wires in the dash
Day view 1
Day View 2
Night View
I've created a blog and started documenting how I've installed then various things. At the moment it only has the DRL installation in it, but others are to follow... Thought it might help others that might be interested or like it... go easy on me, it's my first blog...
I'll also post some useful stuff (that I had to look for all over the place) like fuse charts, Light bulbs etc.
Hope someone likes the blog...

Hi Jim, thanks for your welcome ! Envious of the wonderful ride that you're waiting on... The only thing nicer than the old GL is the new GL !!!

Love the EL Lights! Thought they'd be tacky at first but after seeing the pictures it reminds me of the new ambient lighting such as on the S Class.
