Yes, I've needed it for a few small things. Nothing major so far. I'm at 70k. Bought the warranty at 50k after the factory ran out.
Yes, the dealer has it on file now and it hasn't been an issue.

I have one through Chrysler Service Contracts. They don't write policies for Mercedes anymore. I'm guessing they got burned. I've used it for two air strut replacements and a wheel bearing failure.
