ABS issue
Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum, as my wife and I just purchased a 2010 GL550 (with 20k miles). We've only had it for two weeks (still waiting for the "hard plates" to arrive) and have our first problem. The ABS seems to be activating prematurely. Even during a "gentle" stop from 40mph, you can hear and feel the ABS pulsing.
This morning the ABS/ESP warning lights are on. I arranged a service visit for Monday, but thought I'd seek some unbiased feedback. The MB Service Advisor said he has seen this before and the car is still "driveable". Although he warned that the ABS and ESP are more than likely inactive at this time.

press the button turning the ESP 'off'. Avoid driving on snow and ice and anticipate longer stopping distances - ie more space to the car ahead. The cruise control will NOT work with the ESP off so you lose that function.
I hope the dealer fixes it under warranty.
