Bi Xenon auto leveling question!
Hi everyone, on my 2010 GL450 with factory equipped bi xenon, I just notice that only the driver side headlight move up and down when turn on the headlight, but the passenger side doesn't move at all Is this normal or both side should move up and down when turning on the headlight. Never notice it before.
Anything wrong with the passenger side not moving at all.
Still have couple of thousands miles before the factory warranty expire, should I bring it to the dealer and have them check it or could be DIY. Thanks

Is the purpose of the up and down movement of the shutter to compensate for suspension leveling issues? Is the system also designed to be speed sensitive such that the faster you drive the headlights adjust so you can see further down the road?
I've been somewhat unhappy with the night time lighting of my GL even with the zenon lights. There seems to be a lot of light directly in front of the vehicle but not enough down the road. Switching to high beams is like turning on daylight. That I like but desire better visibility with the low beams. My brother drove it last week and also mentioned something about it too. The dealer has checked the headlight position and stated it is within spec.
When turning on the car the headlights move up and down and the also move left and right when driving. If they are speed sensitive how can I verify this?
