08 ML63 calipers/rotors on 08 GL550

08 ML63 calipers/rotors on 08 GL550
I have an 08 GL550 and was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the brakes to that of an 08 ML63 AMG calipers and crossdrilled rotors. I notice the rears should work since they are the same dimensions. But the ML63 front rotors are a 15.4" diameter, while the GL550 front rotors are a 13.8" diameter.
So 1) would the ML63 front rotor fit the front wheel hub assembly of the GL550 and 2) will the ML63 front caliper fit with it's front carrier mount installed on the GL550 front strut assembly?

Yea it's an old thread but figured I ask here than start a new thread.
I looked up the brake disc and caliper parts from 2010 ML and it's same as the GL. So I'm figuring that the 2010 ML63 calipers should fit the GL.
I did a swap on my C320k from stock to c32 calipers and rotors then swap to CLK63 BBK and it work perfect only had to cut a small piece of the rear dust shield.
Just would be sweet to have a nice big caliper and rotors on my 2011 GL550

I think the "plate" is the mounting plate so that the caliper can line up correctly. Mostly likely the 6 piston caliper (front) is going to be longer dimensionally so you need the correct mounting plate.
