pics of gripDaddy ipad mounts in GL
Finally got a chance to take some pics of the gripDaddy tablet mounts in the GL. I installed these for the kiddies for our trip to glacier national park (averaging a very respectable 28 mpg btw 
). This is now the second road trip we used them on.
I searched long and hard for iPad mounts that worked for what I wanted. These do not require anything to be attached to the iPads, can fit any size tablet, works with a case on the iPad and you can easily take the tablets out when you park. They do not stick out too far at all (quite close and adjustable) and tilt.
I got 2m iPad cables and ran them down the seat in-between the plastic mold and the mbtex. I ran them out the bottom and to the rear centre condole when the power is (the grey things on the setbacks are protectors for little feet).
Each one had wired headphones and I used my iPhone as a hot spot so they could stream netflix (only in the boring flat lands of Alberta, once we got to GNP I made them look outside at the beautiful scenery).
They are quite sturdy and "grip" really well even over bumpy gravel roads. They do not bounce around at all. All in all very happy with them.

Holding up great! no issues. I find after a while I just have to resung the top arm spring and their as tight as can be. still very happy with them. especially now with ipad air 2 and your favourite new android tablet it can handle them all. That was one of that main issues I was trying to solve was future proof as best as I can.
