GL450 Plastic Chrome Roof Rack Trim Piece?

GL450 Plastic Chrome Roof Rack Trim Piece?
Hello Fellow GL450 Owners!
I am a recent GL450 owner and just purchased the GL450 Chrome Roof Rack Crossbars...One of the trim pieces that cover the crossbars/Key Housing had some plastic tabs break off...I have since used clear tape to keep the trim piece on, but am having a hard time finding where to get the actual replacement trim piece. The dealer told me this is a Thule Part and wanted to know if anyone has had success going thru Thule Direct for the part or if you may have another source that does not require me to go with Thule Direct and perhaps use someone local in the states?

Your dealer isn't telling you the truth. It is not a Thule piece... It is a MB piece that cost over $125.00. Mine broke off and the dealer replaced mine under warranty. Took them over two weeks to get it from Germany.
