if im driving at speed and give a good amount of gas like to pass or something. when it down shifts i get a loud clunk that you can actually feel from what i believe is the rear end. under normal driving conditions it's fine, I canjam thde pedal from a stop and it blasts off. any help is appreciated!

Sounds like the transmission is downshifting/upshifting incorrectly. Has the tranny oil been changed?
