How do you chnge the engine air filter on a 2011 GL 450. PIctures or video would be helpful if out there.

 

You know, I was wondering the same thing. Can anyone provide instruction on how to change the engine air filter? The dealership wants over $100 + tax for this.

 

It's been a while since I've done mine but it's not too complicated. You need to remove the crossbar and then pop the main plastic cosmetic type cover off. There are plastic housings on either side that you unscrew and the airfilters are contained under those covers.

Remember there are TWO filters. I made the mistake of only purchasing one, took everything apart before I realized two were needed. Lol.
