So this gay brings in a 2010 MB ML350 bluetec for service . The engine was nocking bad. We pull out the oil dip stick no oil ,remove the oil filler cap full of sludge . I took some pic of it and video i posted it on you tube i will share the link.Gay never changed the oil . we added 5 qt of oil and 1 qt od seafoum and ran it for 5 min and removed the drain plug...and nothing came out. we head to use a screwdriver to remove sludge to drain oil. so sad. people not knowing how to take care of ther cars : smash:

If it is a bluetec how can he go that long? Wouldnt he have had to stop at the dealership to fill the bluetec urea tank? And he didn't see the change oil light in dash?

He could have filled the AdBlue tank himself - he would have had to because the car would not start once the AdBlue is empty. But if he was smart enough to fill the AdBlue, how could he be dumb enough to keep driving through the Service A, Service B and Service C lights?

A gaggle of MB's
Smart thinking - but frankly those blow by diesel contaminants over 35K miles will not come out with 5 minutes of SeaFoam.

If he has any hope whatsoever of saving that engine long term - stock up on filters - dino oil - and a couple of gallons of Marvel Mystery Oil.

I would run it with dino cut with with a gallon off Marvel Mystery oil for 3-4 hours - drain and replace - then run for 1 week cut with 2 qts Mystery - drain replace - then run 1 month with 1 qt Mystery - then only then would i go back to synthetic if the 3rd change showed fairly clean.

I throw one Stasbil Diesel Formula in the tank - and frankly he needs a new MB diesel fuel filter.

I have seen that engine recover from worse - but it needs proper medical attention now - or it's a time bomb..

20k miles would not be an issue. But 35k mi just seems like too much.

(seafoum is the best for sludge why???? it turns the sludge in to liquid and it just comes out easy). we changed oil 2 times on the car friday. Monday we changed the oil and filter started the car and ran like new.. wow..... did not hear any any engine noise ( it came in knockin like a tractor ) i cant believe this is the same engine that it came in and the noise it head .

The funniest part of this is the Freudian slips, unless you really meant to call him "gay" a couple times.

Will his car be branded by MB for him ignoring the service and will his idiocy affect his warranty? In other words, what happens when this idiot trades the car in for another Mercedes? Can the car still be sold as a CPO?

When you think you have it clean, give it a fill of normal synthetic, run it 1 to 2k miles and get a oil analysis.

That should give you some insight into the condition of the bearings.

sorry for the wrong spelling it's guy hahha. i'm not shore i think MB denied hid claim. VIN is in the system as void warranty . That's why he took the car for service to my place.

He already took the hit. Selling a car that has been excluded rom factory warranty will be a big loss.

Just get the oil analysis and if all comes back, drive and enjoy. (Yes, it might have a little less power and a little more oil usage.)
