Owners Manual Missing ?
Hello Guys,
I leased my 2012 GL450 about 2 years ago. Today I started looking over the terms of lease return and it says I have to bring back with the cars manual. The issue is that my car didnt come with one. I remember asking them and they said that owners manuals are now online and I shouldn't worry about it. Now it says that I can get charged for not having it. I guess its possible its somewhere still in the car, what would be the usual location of the owners manual and rest of the paperwork they are referring to?

Mine came in a leather case located in the storage areas of the passenger door. It was all in French and I had to get an English version from the dealer.

Yeah I have been using the online manual for the past 2 years, but now when I`m returning the car they said I have to make sure I bring the book in or I will be charged. The thing is it was not there and I told the dealer it was not there and they said its all online now. (and I believed him)

Yes, right in the door. The leather case is quite thick and doesn't fit in the glove compartment. And, within the case, there is one thick volume for the car and another for the entertainment/navigation system.
