2011 GL 450 problems starting
I own a 2011 GL 450.
Recently when starting up it sounds like the battery is out of juice.
It has however started up.
My wife took it on a short trip to fill it up and when she tried to start it, nothing!
A kind passer by gave her a jump and she was on her way.
We took it to the dealer to get the battery replaced as it seems somewhat complicated.
They said that the battery was fine and it would be another issue.
They suggested we give it to them to fault find but it could take over a day to diagnose it.
This doesn't fill me with much confidence in their ability.
Have any of you had problems like this, if so what was the diagnosis.
My initial thoughts if it wasn't the battery were the alternator or the starter motor.
Any help would be appreciated.

battery
If this is a 2011 model then replace the battery and be done. No doubt it is the battery, no need in paying for diagnosis. 3 years on a battery is good depending on your climate.

thanks Krusty, that was my thoughts, especially looking at the history, but the service guy was adamant it was good.
It has 56k on it and its 3 years old so we are in the right range for a replacement.
I was just wondering if he could be correct, a day for diagnozing the issue sounded strange given the fact he hadn't really looked at it.
