Arnott Industry Rear Airspring question

Just wonder if the above rear air spring will support the Off Road package? Or is it requires another type of rear air spring?

As of February 2014 Arnott does not support the 2013 model year of the ML or GL yet and the On/Off Road Package is only available for those model years. We typically don't need to support new models or model changes until they come out of warranty. I will send this on to Engineering so they can be looking at it.
An On/Off Road Package is available for most markets (now including North America) as of the 2013 model year. The package adds a two-speed dual range Magna Powertrain transfer case with center differential lock, reduction gearing, underbody skid plates, and a 6-mode selectable terrain driving program system. The rear differential lock has been discontinued.

The OP's profile says he drives a GL 320 (unknown year). The OP does NOT say what country he is located in so it is possible there is an off road package on a 320 somewhere in the world other than N America. It would be helpful though if the OP could clarify this.

I have send email to Arnott Industry and Melvin has kindly answered my question.
The rear air spring DOES goes up and down like the original equipment when vehicle has equipped with Off Road Package.
Mine's a Australian version X164, 2008 320 CDI

Camping is consider as usual activity for us over the long weekends, the Xmas/New Year etc.
Cars like Prado/Landcrusier/Patrol (with full 4WD capability) has always been the sensible choice of Australian families with 2.3 kids as family car
So for MB need to enter this market, a vehicle with off road capability is a must

After a 48 and 56 Jeep and a 89 and 91 Range Rover, I would have loved the real off-road instead of the "optic Off Road".
We can get it on the 450/550 (I have been told) but not the diesel (where it makes the most sense).
Go figure??

I have read the spec of what the US offer and I was wondering about this too.
Consider the car is actually make in US, you guys should have heaps more options than we should get.
