Back in the MB Saddle!
1. Lugnuts were rusting - they replaced
2. Creaking/Popping in front steering (they have replaced struts, sway arm, steering knuckle, lubricated everything)
3. After road testing the tech noticed a vibration from same area and deduced that the bushings must be replaced
4. Fog lights had condensation in them (they have replaced both)
5. Rear driver side seat squeaked - (they adjusted something)
6. Alignment, oil change, and 25 point inspection.....
7. Replaced battery in one of the key fobs; ordered new mats
I've noticed several people commenting on the "unique" squeaks and sounds from this model on the MB World threads. Am I in need of changing my mind about this vehicle or is it something you eventually figure out what to fix/replace or deal with?
And while this is silly, is there any way on the 2011 to get an audible horn response when you "lock" the vehicle? I haven't had it in my garage yet long enough to play with it and figure out the setting....
After being away from MB for two years - I was giddy to see that many at the dealership remembered me and addressed me by name. This is what I love most about MB - they are hospitable to those who are brand loyal!
Cheers,
Skip
