GL550 Battery Message
Hello everyone. My battery on my 2008 GL550 was low after letting the car sit for 3 weeks. The battery symbol came on, and I put a trickle charger on the extended battery terminals under the hood (where they suggest you attach the cables when jump starting the car).
I have since charged the battery, but I cannot seem to get rid of the battery symbol in my dash. The SUV is fine, but its a bit distracting. Is there anyway of resetting the message...or is there something else i need to take care of?

I'm guessing you need a new battery.
My early build '08 got a new battery just before I bought it. (Jan 2013)

Just pick up an appropriate sized AGM battery from a quality supplier.
1/2 the cost of the dealer.
You might as well have the back-up battery replaced at the same time.
